A 9' x 12' area rug is one of the most versatile sizes for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and open-concept spaces. At Shabahang Rug Gallery, our collection includes hand-knotted Persian, Oriental, traditional, transitional and contemporary rugs in approximately 9' x 12' sizes.
Finding the Right 9' x 12' Rug
In a living room, a 9' x 12' rug can anchor a full seating arrangement and provide generous coverage beneath sofas and chairs. In a dining room, this size works well beneath many larger dining tables while allowing room for chairs to remain on the rug when pulled out.
A 9' x 12' rug can also be an excellent choice for a spacious bedroom, where it can extend beyond the sides and foot of the bed to create a comfortable and finished look.
Every handmade rug is unique, so exact dimensions may vary slightly. Browse our current 9' x 12' rug collection below, or visit Shabahang Rug Gallery in Waukesha to see our rugs in person.
