Shop Antique Persian & Oriental Rugs
Antique rugs bring history, craftsmanship and character into a home in a way few other furnishings can. At Shabahang Rug Gallery, our collection includes antique hand-knotted Persian and Oriental rugs in a variety of sizes, colors, patterns and weaving traditions.
The Character of an Antique Rug
Each antique rug is unique. Variations in color, weave, dimensions and signs of age are part of the individuality of a handmade piece. From intricate floral designs to bold geometric and tribal patterns, antique rugs can complement both traditional interiors and contemporary spaces.
Choosing the Right Antique Rug
When selecting an antique rug, consider more than size and color. Origin, construction, design, condition and craftsmanship can all help tell the story of a rug. Our experience with handmade rugs allows us to help you compare pieces and understand the characteristics that make each rug distinctive.
The Shabahang family's rug tradition dates to 1885. Browse our current antique rug collection below, or visit Shabahang Rug Gallery in Waukesha to see our rugs in person and receive expert guidance in selecting the right piece for your home.
